THOMAS EARL CHANDLER

Thomas Earl Chandler, age 71, of Blakely, GA passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Early Memorial Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mr. Chandler will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home at 11:00 AM  with Rev. James Scarborough officiating.  Interment will follow in Cedar Springs Cemetery with Marcus Lane, Harley Lane, Matthew Cowart, Michael Cowart, Mark Cowart, and Patrick Rapozo serving as active casketbearers.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Mr. Chandler was born in Donalsonville, GA on Sept. 17, 1947 to Charles Olvin Chandler and Rosa Ollie Windham Chandler.  He was a landscaper and of the Baptist faith. He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Loretta Christine Cowart and her husband Matthew; his brother, Charles Edward Chandler; two grandchildren, Marcus Anthony Lane (Malori Mock) and Harley Lloyd Stone Lane (Casey Schoen); as well as six great grandchildren, Remington Lane, Skylar Lane, Ashton Lane, Meadow Lane, Jaden Schoen, and Zoe Schoen. Mr. Chandler was preceded in death by his parents, Olvin Chandler and Rosa Ollie Windham Chandler; his brother, James Olvin Chandler; and three sisters, Vivian Marie Schumm, Ivey Lois Chandler, and Nita Mae Baker.
