THOMAS JOSEPH "T.R." RICHARDS

Thomas Joseph “T.R.” Richards, age 72, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Sunday evening, August 27, 2023 at his residence.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Jakin Baptist Church with Rev. Marty Brock and Rev. Cory Thomas officiating.

Mr. Richards was born in Trenton, New Jersey on June 9, 1951, to James and Gertrude Anna Hamilton Richards.  He was a self-employed Master Painter until his retirement.  Mr. Richards enjoyed music and playing the organ.  Spending time with his family and friends was very important to him.  He especially loved and enjoyed his fur babies.  Mr. Richards was a member of Jakin Baptist Church. 

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Cynthia Richards of Donalsonville, GA; his sister, Nancy Richards of Trenton, New Jersey; his brother, James Richards, Jr. of Jakin, GA; and several nephews and nieces.  He is also survived by 3 very special fur babies, Indy, Georgia, and Bella.

Mr. Richards was preceded in death by his parents, James and Gertrude Anna Hamilton Richards; two brothers, Richard Bohr and Robert Richards; and a sister, Rose Rohrhirsch.
