TRENTON ANTHONY BEARD

March 10, 1979 — July 18, 2021

Trenton Anthony Beard, age 42, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Sunday, July 18, 2021 at his residence. A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Corinth Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Phillip Kirkland officiating. Mr. Beard was born in Donalsonville, GA on March 10, 1979 to Eric Anthony Beard and Carrie Cable Beard. He was an extremely talented and proficient artist. Trenton had won numerous awards over the years and had even been commissioned by families to create oil paintings of their relatives. At one point he was awarded the Firehouse Art Gallery’s prestigious Peoples Choice Award for his exhibits. He created various types of art forms from wood sculptures and oil paintings to woodburning designs and canvas paintings. Trenton’s artwork can be seen along Hwy 84 in Seminole County, as he has created the Welcome to Donalsonville signs in the past, and in town as he designed a mural on the side of Dr. Holley’s old office building. You might even visit the Seminole County Courthouse and see his work in the form of the “Missing People” portrait that hangs in the foyer depicting the delegation that traveled to Atlanta in 1920 to secure the creation of the County of Seminole. Aside from his artwork, Trenton was an accomplished guitar and violin player. He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Carrie Miller and husband Larry of Iron City, GA; his stepfather, Charles Scott and wife Amy of Iron City, GA; his brother, Philip Scott of Donalsonville, GA; his sister, Megan Scott of Iron City, GA; his grandmother, Betty Glass of Donalsonville, GA; his uncle, Lacy Cable and his aunt, Sharon Merkison both of Donalsonville, GA; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Beard was preceded in death by his father, Eric Anthony Beard and his grandparents, Roy and Diane Beard, E.J. and Melba Scott, and H.E. and Myrtie Miller.
