Virgil Teall

Mr. Virgil Teall, age 92, of Iron City, GA passed away Tuesday evening, Nov. 10, 2020 at his daughter’s home. No services are being planned at this time. Mr. Teall was born on October 28, 1928 in Hale, Michigan to the late Irvin and Rose Humphrey Teall. He was a Maintenance superintendent for Georgia Pacific. Mr. Teall also enjoyed woodworking, playing golf, and playing the guitar. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy. He is survived by his sons, Allen Teall (Vickie) of LaGrange, GA, Jeffery Teall (Cynthia) of Jacksonville, FL, and Kent Teall (Tamara) of Donalsonville, GA; his daughters, Rose Pumphrey (Juwan Hopkins) of Iron City, GA, and Karen Shattles of LaGrange, GA; and one brother, Vernon Teall of Wakefield, VA. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Mr. Teall is preceded in death by his wife Edna Edwards Teall; his parents, Irvin and Rose Humphrey Teall and several siblings. Arrangements have been entrusted to Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.
