WALTER LESTER GLASS

Walter Lester Glass, age 99, of Donalsonville, GA, passed away Sunday morning, January 20, 2019 at Seminole Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mr. Glass will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Merritt officiating.  Interment will follow in Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Larry Worrell, Hiram Mock, Bruce Adams, Arthur Glass, Ronnie Shiver, and Don Jarvis serving as active casketbearers.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Mr. Glass was born in Colquitt, GA on October 4, 1919 to Ben Elliot and Eddie Easom Glass.  He was a farmer.   He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Glass was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Eddie Easom Glass; his wife, Decima McLendon Glass; his siblings, Betty Adams, Mollie Albritton, Naomi Lovering, Ella Mae Mock, Pete Glass, Frank Glass, and Jim Ira Glass.
