Mrs. Thompson was born in Donalsonville, GA on November 5, 1952, to Jimmy Odom, Jr. and Mavis Faircloth Odom.  She was a graduate of Seminole County High School and went on to obtain her cosmetology license.  Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker and member of Trinity Crossroads Church.  She enjoyed shopping and cooking; but spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, was her favorite pastime. Mrs. Wanda was one of those people who always had a smile and a kind word no matter what might be going on around her.  She truly made everyone feel loved and appreciated.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Raymond Thompson; her children, Brad Thompson and his wife Amy, Chris Thompson and his wife Blair, and Brittany Pitts and her husband Bryce; as well as her grandchildren, Ashlyn and Ava Thompson, Landon and Mackenzie Thompson, and Brycen and Brynlee Pitts.  Two sisters also survive, Gloria Blackburn and her husband Rob and Betty Stephens and her husband David. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Wanda's sitters who took such great care of her and have become a part of the family as well.

Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy Odom, Jr. and Mavis Faircloth Odom; a sister, Linda Odom; and a brother, Sammy Odom.
