WESLEY L. TEMPLES

Wesley L. Temples, age 79, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Tuesday morning, Jan. 9, 2024, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL.

Funeral services for Mr. Temples will be held on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Hubert Smith officiating.  Interment will follow in Friendship Memorial Gardens with Richard Spooner, Gene Horn, Toby Johnson, Randall Amerison, Jacob Holley, Jr., and Paul Temples serving as active pallbearers.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Temples was born on April 30, 1944, in Early County, GA.  He was the son of the late Ernest and Florence Hunt Temples.  Mr. Temples was a self-employed mechanic, owning and operating Temples Repair for many years.  He was of the Freewill Baptist Faith and was a member of Masonic Lodge 115 in Miller County.

Mr. Temples leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Janet Grimsley and husband Scott of Colquitt, GA, Lamar Temples and wife Tessie of Iron City, GA, Marty Temples of Donalsonville, GA, Michael Temples and wife Lisa of Jacksonville, FL, Caleb Temples and wife Beth of Jakin, GA, and Kyle Temples and wife Gianna of Pensacola, FL; his brother, Carl Temples of Ocoee, FL; and his longtime companion, Betty Phillips of Donalsonville, GA. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
