WILLIAM DANIEL "DON" HARRISON

William D. “Don” Harrison, age 81, of Iron City, GA passed away Thursday afternoon, October 3, 2019 at his residence. Funeral services for Mr. Harrison will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. David Williams and Rev. Tony Mock officiating.  Interment will follow in Friendship Memorial Gardens with Bruce Taylor, Trent Harrison, Jason Wells, Jerry Yates, Troy Arthur, and Jeffrey Enfinger serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. He is survived by his children, Alton Harrison (Virginia) of Iron City, GA, Donna Mock (Tony) of Colquitt, GA, Sue Thornton (Buddy) of Longwood, FL, Terrell (Carolyn) Harrison of Pensacola, FL; his siblings, Charlene Pritchett, Elaine Zimmer, Janelle King, Edna Hagler, JoAnn Gantt, Laverne Duke, Janice Brunson, Winfred Taylor, Pete Harrison, and Delora Wells; he is also survived by his grandchildren, Daniel Mock (Stacy) of Colquitt, GA, Hannah Harrison of Donalsonville, GA, Heather Polecat (Jeremy) of Stilwell, OK, Samantha Thornton of Longwood, FL, Rae Harrison of Pensacola, FL, and Shannon Hudson of Spartanburg, SC; and his great grandchildren, Levi and Waydon Mock, Jace and Dylin Polecat, and Lexi Hudson. Mr. Harrison was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Harrison and Wilma Berry Harrison; his wife, Lillian Enfinger Harrison; two brothers, Terry Harrison and Dennis Harrison; a sister, Noma Harrison; and a grandson, Andy Thornton.
