WILLIAM L. JONES

Mr. William L. Jones, age 73, of Prattville, AL passed away Friday evening, May 22 in Donalsonville, GA. A private graveside service will be held in Donalsonville. Mr. Jones was born in Donalsonville, GA on December 23, 1946 to A.R. and Nancy Atkinson Jones. He graduated from Seminole County High School in 1965 and received an Associates Degree from Patterson Technical College. Mr. Jones served his country in the United States Air Force until his retirement. He was a Mason and a member of the Montgomery, AL Shriners. Hunting and fishing were activities that he greatly enjoyed. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Dorothy Conyers Jones of Prattville, AL; his children, Karen Pugh and husband Donald of Prattville, AL and William A. Jones and wife Hilary of Memphis, TN; his brothers, Charles Jones and wife Sandra of Donalsonville, GA and Ralph Jones and wife Virginia of Iron City, GA; and his sister, Debra Kraft of Donalsonville, GA. Mr. Jones is also survived by his grandchildren, Samantha Pugh, Brandon Pugh, and McKinley Jones, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents, A.R. and Nancy Atkinson Jones and a brother, Robert Jones.
