Willie Miller

Willie Miller, age 89, of Blackshear, GA, formerly of Donalsonville, GA, passed away Friday evening, August 15, 2025, at Satilla Hospice House surrounded by his loving family. 

Graveside services for Mr. Miller will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Thompson Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Sheffield officiating. 

Willie Milford Miller was born February 27, 1936 in Colquitt, GA to Rachel and Henry Miller. He loved his family and played his guitar and fiddle and sang at many family get togethers.  When not at work doing anything there was to do including clearing lots, installing septic systems, building docks and decks, he could be found somewhere playing music.  He loved to play and sing at jams, get togethers, church or bluegrass festivals.  He will be missed by many.

Mr. Miller is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Beth Miller; his daughters, Rachel Harden and Sheila Miller; eight grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; two sisters and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Tony Miller and daughter, Melissa Walsh; two sisters; two brothers; and four great grandchildren.
